Daily Crypto Vision: Bitcoin Miners more efficient in energy consumption

Last week, we mentioned that the Bitcoin Network hash rate surpassed 80 quintillion h/s for the first time in early August, which is an all time high. Despite the fact that the hash rate went through the roof, energy consumption of Bitcoin miners in July (69.79 terawatt hours p/y) is far below the peak (73.12 terawatt hours p/y) of November 2018. This means that the Bitcoin miners are more efficient than a couple of years ago.
